Phancy Phish face masks feature 3-layers of cloth protection from airborne particles. The third layer on the back (inside) of the mask forms a pocket where a filter can be inserted. HOW TO USE YOUR PHANCY PHISH FACE MASK
Before wearing your face mask, we recommend machine washing the mask in a hot water/sanitize cycle before wearing. You can tumble dry on high heat or air dry (in the sunlight never hurts). Make sure to remove the spring cord lock prior to washing, as the heat can melt the plastic. Remember to wash your mask on a regular basis.
An optional filter can be used by turning the mask over and inserting a filter inside the filter pocket. A filter template can be downloaded here. The cord should be pulled through the mask so that it loops at the top and the two ends go through the cord lock on the bottom. Pull the bottom portion of the cord (with the cord lock) over your head.
Hold the mask on your face while sliding the upper cord loop over your head. Adjust the mask on the cord until it is comfortable and tighten the cord lock. Pinch the nose wire to fit the mask around your nose to your cheek line.
